Earth’s surface is divided into three layers crust, mantle and core.

Crust is the surface on which we live and trees grow.

Below it is mantle and the inner most layer is called the core.

Core can be further divided into outer and inner core.

Core contains magma which is in molten or liquid state.

The outer layer of core of the Earth which is 2400 km thick, is in liquid form that mostly contain iron and nickel.

So answer is (b) outer core.
