Hidden layers will not be displayed when you print.

• Some map layers do not display when printing or exporting a map at explicit scales that use scale dependences or scale references.

• Each size is printed on a dissimilar layer in the pdf file, and you can then select which layers to display and which to hide. Then, when you go to print your design, only the visible layers are printed.
