LCM of 2520 and 6600 is 252 × k

value of k = ??


Now,

Find the HCF of 2520 and 6600

According to euclid's division algorithm---


6600>2520

6600 = 2520 × 2 + 1560

2520 = 1560 × 1 + 960

1560 = 960 × 1 + 600

960 = 600 × 1 + 360

600 = 360 × 1 + 240

360 = 240 × 1 + 120

240 = 120 × 2 + 0


HCF = 120



And,


HCF × LCM = product of two nos.

120 × 252k = 2520 × 6600

252k = 2520 × 6600 / 120

252k = 2520 × 55

k = 2520 × 55 / 252

k = 10 × 55

k = 550



Therfore , value of k = 550
