Let,

The other number be x.

We know that,

L.C.M. × H.C.F. = Product of two numbers

We have,

• L.C.M. = 108.
• H.C.F. = 9.
• One number = 54.

→ $108 \times 9 = 54 \times x$

→ $972 = 54x$

→ $\cancel \dfrac{972}{54} = x$

→ $\cancel\dfrac{486}{27} = x$

→ $\cancel \dfrac{162}{9} = x$

→ $\cancel \dfrac{54}{3} = x$

→ $18 = x$

So, the value of x is 18.

Hence,

The other number is 18.

We know that,

We have,
