LCM of two numbers is 120 and the HCF is 2.If one of the number is 10 .find the other number.​

hcf×lcm= no..1×no.2

120×2=10×no.2

240÷10=no.2

24 is the second no.

Let the two numbers be 'a' and 'b'.....where a=10...as mentioned in the question

lcm = 120 \\ hcf = 2 \\ lcm \times hcf = a \times b \\  b =  \frac{lcm \times hcf}{a}  \\  \\ b =  \frac{120 \times 2}{10}  \\  \\ b = 24
