Given :-

• L.C.M of two numbers is 14 times Their H.C.F

L.CM =14(H.CF)

• H.C.F+L.C.M= 450

To find

L.C.M

A.T.Q :-

Let the H.C.F be. a

and L.C.M =14a

Then ,

L.C.M+H.C.F =450

=> 14a+a=450

=> 15a=450

=> a=450/15

=> a= 30

So the H.C.F = 30

L.C.M =14 × H.C.F

=> L.C.M =14 ×30

=>. 420

L.C.M =420

QUESTION :

LCM of two numbers is 14 Times their HCF. if the sum of LCM and HCF is 450 , find LCM.

SOLUTION :

Suppose the LCM of these two numbers is X

LCM of two numbers is 14 Times their HCF.

So, the HCF is X / 14

The sum of LCM and HCF is 450.

So,

X + X / 14 is 450

=> 15 / 14 X = 450

=> X = 450 × 14 / 15

=> X = 30 × 14

=> X = 420

So the LCM of these two numbers is 420.
