The discount percentage given by seller is 10.7%

Given that the selling price of bicycle is rs 3136

GST percentage is 12%

Let the cost price of the bicycle be x.

GST applied would be 12x/100

Total price of bicycle would be = x+ 12x/100 = 112x/100

Equating the two prices:

112x/100 =  3136

x = 2800

Hence the original listed price of bicycle is rs 2800

After discount the price would be 2800 also

Discounted amount = 3136-2800 = 336

Discount percentage = 336/3136 * 100 = 10.72%
