Le chatelier,a French chemist, made a generalisation to explain the effect of changes in concentration, temperature,or pressure on the state of system in equilibrium. The generalisation is known as Le-chateliers principal. It states that:
If a system in equilibrium is subjected to a change of concentration, pressure,or temperature, the equilibrium shifts in the direction that tends to undo the effect of the change
Hope it helps:)

.WHEN THE CONCENTRATION, PRESSURE OR TEMPERATURE OF A SYSTEM AT EQUILIBRIUM IS CHANGED, THE SYSTEM WILL READJUST ITSELF SO AS TO NULLIFY THE EFFECT OF THAT CHANGE AND ATTAIN A NEW STATE OF EQUILIBRIUM.
