★ Balanced chemical equation :-

A balanced chemical equation is an equation in which the total number of atoms in the reactant side is equal to the total number of atoms in the product side of the arrow.

★ The need to balance a chemical equation :-

1. The main reason why a chemical eqaution should be balnaced is beacuse every reaction should follow the law of conservation of mass - Mass can neither be created nor destroyed.

2. Balancing a chemical equation also helps us to know the quantity of reactants (required for the reaction) and quantity of the products obatined (outcome of the reaction).

● Skeletal equation :-

\bold{Pb+CuCl_2----)PbCl_2+Cu}

■ Balanced eqaution :-

\bold{Pb+CuCl_2----)PbCl_2+Cu}

➪ Skeletal equation and balanced equation appears to be same because the original reaction is already balanced own its own. Hence, it follows the law of conservation of mass and balancing the equation further is not necessary.
