Explanation:
Monocot leaf-
The leaves are produced from seeds with single cotyledon.
Their leaves are called isobilateral leaves as both the surface have same color.
Presence of equal number of stomata on both the surface of epidermis.
Example-Maize, grass,rice etc.
Dicot leaf-
The leaves are produced from seeds with two cotyledons.
The number of stromata are not equal as the lower surface contain more stomata than upper surface.
Example- mango, peanut,oak tree etc.
