Come and Join our Rally for Drought-Affected Farmers of Maharashtra!!!
Many farmers on Maharashtra are dying due to extreme poverty and lack of good yield. This is due to the severe drought that has affected most places, especially rural areas of Maharashtra. Our college, RKB UNniversity, in collaboration with the All India Farmers Alliance and Union and CGAIR is organising a rally to help raise funds to help farmers in drought affected region of Maharashtra.
The Rally will take place on "18 February 2020" from "7.30 am to 6.00 pm". Flag off Point would be at the University's Main Gate 6 at 7.30 am. The rally would be flagged of by Sri Vivekanand Dubey, President CGAIR. Leading personalities such as Mr. Rahul Dravid, Cricketer, Mr. Arun Puri, MD India Today Group, Ms. Mary Kom, Olympic boxer, Mr.Prathap Reddy, Chairman Apollo Hospitals and Ms. Mrinalini Sarabhai, Indian Classical dancer are partaking in this rally. There would also be signature participation at the end of the rally.
As we begin another year of unprecedented crisis and uprising, the demand for deep change is stronger than ever.
