Answer:

A man always mocked at his son because he couldn't perform well in studies.

Though his son was a very nice, well mannered and loving child and also studied a lot but still could never get even close to distinction which kept his father always in anger mode.

He aimed at improving his son but without realising he sometimes crossed the thin line of hurting his son's self esteem.

Finally that phase got over and his son went out to become an average guy with a very average job.

His father's frustration and anger grew with age and irrespective of being old he still showed unnecessary anger to his son every now and then.

But his son never disrespected him in return and always took care of his increasing needs.

One day that man shouted at his son really bad.

His son’s wife couldn't accept that behaviour and argued with her father in-law but her husband stopped her immediately and took her to their room.

Weeping, she asked him that why is he taking so much anger from his father even though he is the one taking care of the old man.

He said-

“Dear Ritu, my father has anger issues since the past 3 decades after his father passed away at a very young age, he has a heart of gold and took care of us really well, also it was me who could never stand up to his expectations, can't we compromise with this little imperfection and value his love for us?”

His father who was listening to everything standing besides the closed door had tears in his eyes, realised that how he ignored every good quality of his son and always mocked at him for not being good in studies or being successful.

This realisation changed the old man who sweared never to shout at or insult his son ever again.

Imperfection is the one of the fixed traits common to all human beings.

If you look for imperfections in people, you won't need much efforts to find many.

The results will definitely dissapoint you.

But if you see through the imperfections and limitations, and search for positives, you will love, appreciate and respect most people you know.
