Learn to interface an additional IC device to LPC4088QSB IC bus and then write a
program in C Language to access the device.
The lab will consist of multiple steps:
a) You will be provided a smart temperature sensor, DS1631, a high precision digital
thermometer, which (an be interfaced with LPC4088 using IC protocol. (For this semester
the sensor will be connected for you by TA).
b) (100 points) You will write a C Language program to read the room temperature, from
DS1631 and display it on the LCD display
You program should continuously get the temperature reading every few seconds from
the DS1631 sensor in an infinite loop.
You should get the data from DS6131 temperature sensor and display the temperature on the
LCD display. You should display the temperature both in C and in "F. The DS1631 provides
the temperature in °C, you will have to convert the temperature to F for displaying on the
LCD display. Before displaying you will also have to round the temperature values, for both
Centigrade and Fahrenheit. For example, your display should say 135.4 Ch for 35.4012
degrees Centigrade and "75.6 F" for 74.6123 degrees Fahrenheit. Update Centigrade and
Fahrenheit temperatures every few second.
