Question: The image linked below is related to the question

Answer:

  • Convergent Boundary occurs when two or more plates clash. Mountain Ranges are created as a result of the collision. Subduction is the process through which the Oceanic plate is pressed into the mantle. When the subducting plate is heated as it is pushed deeper into the mantle, magma chambers are also created. Parallel to the subduction zone, the magma ascends to produce volcanic arcs. Additionally, a geological structure called a "Trench" is created when an oceanic and continental collision occurs.
  • Where two plates slide past one another is known as a transform plate boundary. Transform faults are the fracture zones that define the boundaries of transform plates. Because the sensation of movement is in the opposite direction, transform faults may be recognized from ordinary strike-slip faults.
  • When two tectonic plates stretch apart or move away from one another, a diverging boundary results. A mid-ocean ridge is created when a divergent boundary forms under the lithosphere and is lifted by the rising convection current below. Deep cracks are created by the lithosphere being stretched by extensional pressures. Divergent boundaries involving continental plates create rift valleys.
