"Most people infected with the virus will experience mild to moderate respiratory illness and recover without special treatment. However, some will become seriously ill and require medical attention. Older people and those with underlying medical conditions like cardiovascular disease, diabetes, chronic respiratory disease, or cancer are more likely to develop serious illnesses. Anyone can get sick with COVID-19 and become seriously ill or die at any age.
The best way to prevent and slow down transmission is to be well informed about the disease and how the virus spreads. Protect yourself and others from infection by staying at least 1 meter apart from others, wearing a properly fitted mask, and washing your hands or using an alcohol-based rub frequently. The COVID-19 or Corona Virus pandemic has had an impact on all things. One of them, buying and selling activities in stores will decrease. Moreover, several countries have also decided to quarantine the region or lock up (temporary lock) aka lockdown which makes companies close their shops.
This is experienced by the well-known fashion retailer, H&M. The apparel company has decided to close its stores in various countries. As reported by Reuters, H&M has to close its 460 stores in Germany. In fact, this country is the number one market in their sales. In addition, it will also temporarily close all stores or as many as 590 units in the United States.
The world's second-largest fashion retailer gave a statement that they have to also close all stores in Canada, Portugal, and Belgium.
Meanwhile, H&M has started to gradually open its stores in China and is now focusing on adjusting purchasing and inventory levels.
H&M has over the past week also closed stores in Italy Poland, Spain, Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Belgium, France, Austria, Luxembourg, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Slovenia, and Kazakhstan, as well as some in Greece.
