Round the following numbers to the nearest tens and hundreds  Thousands and Ten Thousands.

Solution:

Nearest Tens:

• See the right-side number of the tens place, if it's 5 or more than 5 then add 1 to the tens place digit and keep zero in ones digit.

• If it's less than 5 then leave the tens place digit as it is and keep zero in ones digit.

1. 57 342 = 57 340

2. 76 564 = 76 560

3. 95 634 = 95 630

4. 85 756 = 85 760

5. 63 526​ = 63 530

Nearest Hundreds:

• See the right-side number of the hundreds place, if it's 5 or more than 5 then add 1 to the hundreds place digit and keep zero in tens and ones digits.

• If it's less than 5 then leave the hundreds place digit as it is and keep zero in tens and ones digit.

1. 57 342 = 57 300

2. 76 564 = 76 600

3. 95 634 = 95 600
