It works by taking the largest number , 90, modulus, %, the smallest number, 24.

This gets you 90 % 24, which is 18.

Then you take the lowest number and modulus the 1st answer.

Then you take the 1st answer and modulus the 2nd answer.

This carries on until the answer is 0, in which case, the HCF is the lowest number in that equation.

Then, you divide one of the original numbers by the HCF and times the answer by the other number. This gives you the LCM.
