With your kind permission I would like to apply for one day’s leave from school on 30th September, 2019.  

Due to the tragic death of my grandmother two days back, I need to go to my hometown for completing the rites and rituals. As I was her only grandchild I have to be present in all the ceremonies that are to be held.

I once again apologise to you to for the botheration. I hope you understand my difficulty and look over the inconvenience that ‘I have caused to you and pardon my absence’.
