Leaves of a healthy plant were coated with Vaseline. Will this plant remain healthy for long ? Give reason for your answer.

As we know that it is necessary for leaves that it need Photosynthesis,
for photosynthesis there must be transfer of gases take place.
if we coated the leaves with Vaseline The stomata will be closed & gasses doesn't transfer.

Stomata through which transpiration and respiration takes place r blocked by Vaseline and due to lack of oxygen and carbon dioxide the plant may not stay healthy for long
