stomata has very tiny holes , through the stomata respiration process takes ,if we coated with vaseline to block the stomata,vaseline covered or closed the holes of the stomata so the plant can't live long time ,after it will be die , because the respiration process does not takes place and it may die hence photosynthesis process don't takes place and no food and no carbon dioxide and altimately died
