Leaves of a potted plant are coated with Vaseline to block the stomata. Will this plant remain healthy for long? State the 3 reasons for your answer.

The plant will not remain healthy for long and it will die.
First reason is that Vaseline is thick and it will block the stomata so there will be no intake of carbon dioxide.
Second reason it will completely block the stomata even after we remove it so there will be the death of the plant.
The chemical compounds present in Vaseline will protect the plant from receiving heat and so the plant will die.

If leaves of healthy potted plant were coated with Vaseline .so,vaseline will block the stomata then that plant will not remain healthy for long and die rapidly also.because as stomata is blocked ,there be no intake of co2

Vaseline layer prevent the plant from receiving sunlight

Also process like photosynthesis ,transpiration,respiration stops and plant will die gradually
