In Bryophyllum, the leaves bear leaf buds which originate along the leaf margins. The leaf buds gradually develop some roots called adventitious roots. When the leaves bearing these leaf buds fall down and the roots touch the soil, new and individual plants grow from the bud whereas rose culture occurs via four methods: seed, cuttings , layering and grafting (asexual modes of reproduction) Rose can reproduce both asexually and sexually (pollination).
