↪I was the victim of a violent crime that left me permanently blind in my left eye.

↪The injury to my eyeball left me with a blood clot on my optic nerve and a sponge filling a hole in the eyeball itself.

↪ then I am became depressed, lifeless and angry. Sleeping and drinking were my only escapes.

↪ When I drank it dulled the emotional pain. When I slept, I was fully sighted.

↪ Then I would wake up and only see half the world, which led to depression and another need for another drink.
