shirts:

3 choices for formals and 4 choices  for denims.

=> Total available Choices for Shirt  = 3 + 4 =  7

two types of pants:

Jeans and Formal, with 2 choices for each of them

=> Total available Choices of Pants  = 2  +  2  = 4

a formal shirt with a pair of formal pants

= 3 Choices for shirt  *  2 Choices for formal paint

= 3 * 2  = 6

or

a denim shirt  with a pair of jeans

= 4 Choices for shirt * 2 Choices for Jeans

= 4 * 2

= 8

total number of ways she can select the outfit now are  6 + 8  = 14

she can select the outfit  in 14 Ways

option B is correct
