so divided into 0.5 m
so 12.5/0.5=25
so 25 half mtr piece she can cut

total length of the roll = 12 1/2 metre
                                     = 25/2 metre
length to be cutted = 1/2 metre
∴ no. of pieces she can cut = 25/2 ÷1/2
                                                = 25/2 × 2/1
                                                = 25 pieces
                             ans = 25 pieces
