Leena has rupees 370 in the form 10 rupee notes and 50 rupee notes the number of 10 rupee notes is more than 50 rupee notes find the number of notes each type​

Let the number of Rs. 50 notes be x. So, number of Rs. 10 notes would be x+1.

∴50x+10(x+1) = 37050x+10(x+1)=370

∴60x + 10 = 37060x+10=370

∴60x = 36060x=360

∴x = 6x=6

So, number of 50 Rs notes is 6 and 10 Rs notes is 7
