Lets say s represents the son’s age, and f represents the father’s age.

Twenty years ago according to the question, the father was 6 times the son’s age. This means

f=6s

Today (twenty years from the previous equation), the father is twice as old as the son. This means

f+20=2(s+20)

Then using the first equation, we can substitute 6s for f

6s+20=2(s+20)

Then we simplify the equation to get the son’s age twenty years ago

6s+20=2s+40

4s=20

s=5

Meaning the son was 5 twenty years ago, and today is 25. This means the father who is twice his age today is 50. Or using the original equation and adding 20 we get the same answer

f=6∗5

f=30

30+20=50.

So today, the father is 50.
this is just a example I had given example because I think that you are genius so why you want a same answer you can do it
best of luck
