225 ml water should be added

Solution:

Given that,

Lemon squash for every 2 parts concentrate add 5 parts water

Therefore,

Ratio is:

lemon : water = 2 : 5

Let the lemon be 2x

Let the water added be 5x

I add 90 ml of concentrate into a glass

2x = 90

x = 45

Therefore,

Water to be added = 5x = 5(45) = 225

Thus 225 ml water should be added
