\mathbb{ SOLUTION } :

Cost of 12 lemons = Rs. 48

\therefore Cost of 1 lemon = Rs. (48÷12) = Rs. 4

[ \therefore 1 dozon = 12 pieces ]

Also,
10 lemons sold by = Rs. 40

\therefore Selling Price of 1 lemon = Rs. (40÷10) = Rs. 4

\therefore Cost Price of 1 lemon = Selling Price of 1 lemon

\therefore \bf{ no \: \:profit \: \: no\: \: loss }

Here is your solution

Given :-

Lemons were bought at Rs48 per dozen

1 dozen lemon = 12  lemon

12 lemon cost 48

cost of one lemon = 48/12 = Rs 4

Now

A/q

In Rs 40 sell 10 lemon

so here

cost of 1 lemon also 40/10 = Rs4/lemon

Hence

Not profit and loss

so

neither loss % nor gain %

Hope it helps you
