Even though Lencho described the post-office employees as a bunch of crooks, they were actually really nice and considerate people.
- Lencho had written a letter to god asking for money since his crops had gotten destroyed due to excessive rain. He considered god guilty for this.
- When the letter reached the postmaster, he laughed at first but immediately turned serious. He did not want to shake Lencho's faith in god.
- For this, he paid a part of his salary and asked his employees to contribute money as well. Unfortunately, they could only collect half the money required.
- With the money, he put it in an envelope addressed to Lencho and with it a letter containing only a single word as a signature: God.
- When the letter reached Lencho, he was furious and thought that the post office employees stole half his money.
- But, his judgment was wrong as it was the post office employees who had collected the money for Lencho.
- Thus, the post-office employees were actually really nice and considerate people.
