Answer:

Lencho was a simple and hardworking farmer.

He knew that his crops need a downpour.

Im the evening Rainfall started but suddenly it turned to Hailstorm and destroyed his whole corn crop with few hours. He became sad and depressed. He had lost all his hopes except faith on God. He wrote a letter to the god for demanding 100 pesos as a backup of failure of his crop. Next day he went to post office and deposited the letter. After some days he went there and asked for any letter for him. He got a letter. He didn't amazed but he quickly started to count the money. He found only 70 pesos. He considered the post office employees as Crooks. He wrote another letter to the god to send the rest of money by another mean.

But in reality the money was given to Lencho from the post office employee as "a act of charity"

Above statement shows that ,he has strong faith on God but lack in humanity

Answer: Lencho had child-like faith in god. He couldn't even imagine that humans would help him, as from his childhood he might have realised that people only know how to harm others, they do not know how to help others. His mental influence was that he could not believe that humanity still exists today. He believed that God wouldn't make such a big mistake, so he would give him what he had asked for. He believed that the people at the post office were a bunch of crooks and had stolen 30 pesos.

He had written a letter to god, telling him about his problems and his need for 100 pesos. He gave the letter to the post office. The postmaster was astonished but later became serious about the matter. He respected Lencho's faith in god and decided to help him. He, with the help of others, managed to collect 70 pesos for Lencho and signed the letter by the name of god as he had firm faith in God and the postmaster thought that his belief should not be shaken. He didn't want to crush his child like-faith in god.
