It seems like lending money leads to more broken hearts and empty wallets because some people just don't have it in them to honour their debts and promises.If someone doesn't pay you back, here is the problem: family parties and birthday celebrations are not fully enjoyable because of the tension that arises as a result of false promises. The dishonesty also creates tension at family gatherings or when friends have to meet. Lending money makes some relationships awkward.
