Step-by-step explanation:

Area of floor when length = 9m and Breadth = 6 cm

Now new length = 9×100cm = 900cm

area \: of \: floor \:  = (length \times breath)

area \: of \: floor \:  = (900 \times 6)cm ^{2}  \\ ∴area \: of \:floor \:  = 5400 {cm}^{2}

Now area of tile when length of side 0.75cm

area \: of \: tile =   {a}^{2}

area \: of \: tile \:  =  {0.75}^{2}

area \: of \: tile\:  = 0.5625m ^{2}

Here area of tile is in m^2

we have to change it in cm^2

We know that 1m^2=1000cm^2

so , 0.5625m^2=5625cm^2

So no. of tiles required

= area of floor÷area of tile

5400÷5625

= 0.96 Answer
