Gandhi ji asked the lawyer that what they would do if he was sentenced to prison ..They said that they had come to advice him if he went to jail then he would go home....
Then Gandhi ji asked him about the injustice from sharecroppers...The lawyers had consulted ...
And they came to the conclusion that it would be shameful decision if they went home ...So they told Gandhi ji that they were ready to follow him into jail...

heya..
Here is your answer...
M.K Gandhi was an assertive leader. He declared that he would go to jail if required. The lawyers, though ready to help, were bewildered. They were inspired at seeing a man who was ready to go to jail for the sake of peasants. The lawyers, who claimed to serve the society had not done this before. But they were inspired and decided that they would also go to jail if the courts decided on sending M.K Gandhi to jail. It was a battle won due to civil disobedience.
