Solution:-

As we know that:-

• Perimeter of rectangle = Circumference of Circle

$\longrightarrow\sf \: Perimeter = 2( l + b ) = 2 \pi r$

$\longrightarrow\sf \: Perimeter = 2( 18 + 15 ) = 2 \times \dfrac { 22 } { 7 } \times r$

$\longrightarrow\sf \: r = \cancel\dfrac{ 2 \times 35 \times 7 } { 22 \times 2 }$

$\longrightarrow\sf \: r = \dfrac { 245 } { 22 }$

Now ,

$\longrightarrow\sf \: Diameter = 2r$

$\longrightarrow\sf \: Diameter = 2 \times \dfrac { 245 } { 22 }$

$\longrightarrow\sf \: Diameter = 22$

Hence ,

• Diameter is 22 cm
