here, length of rectangle (l) is 40cm

breadth (b) is 10 cm

let, side of required square be of length a cm

ATQ,

ar rectangle=ar square

lb=a²

a²=40*10

a²=400

a=√400=20cm

Now, perimeter of this square

=4a

=4x20

=80cm„

= 40×10
