Given:-

  • Ratio of Length and Breadth of the rectangular field is 5 : 3.

  • Breadth of rectangle is 60 m

To Find:-

  • Length of the rectangular field.

Solution:-

Here, Ratio of Length and Breadth is 5 : 3

Let ratio constant be x

According To the Question,

3x = 60 m

x = \dfrac{60}{3} m

x = 20 m

So, Length of the rectangle will be,

5x ⇒ 5 × 20 m  ⇔ 100 m          [ x = 20 m ]

∴ Length of rectangular field is 100 m.

Some Important Terms:-

  • Area of rectangle = Length × Breadth

  • Perimeter of Rectangle = 2 ( L + B )

  • Area of Square = Side²

  • Perimeter of Square = 4 × Side
