Given,

Ratio between length and breadth is 3:2

=}

let , length be 3x and breadth be 2x

Given that perimeter is 18 units

=} 2(l+b) = 18

=} 2( 3x + 2x ) = 18

5x = 9

=} x=9/5

therefore, length of the field is 3x

3x = 9/5 × 3

= 27/5

=5.4

therefore, length of the field is 5.4 units

and the breadth is 2(9/5) = 18/5 = 3.6units

Answer:

Breath = 3.6

Step-by-step explanation:

let the ratio be 3x & 2x

perimeter=2(l+b)

=2(3x+2x)=18

2(5x)=18

10x=18

x=18/10

x=9/5

x=1.8

l=3x=3*1.8

=5.4

b=2x=2*1.8

=3.6
