For a largest circle in a rectangle,

The diameter of the circle will be equal to the breadth of the rectangle,

Thus,

Diameter of circle = 22 cm

So, it's radius (R) = 22/2 = 11 cm

So, area of the circle

 = \bf \: \pi {r}^{2} = \frac{22}{7} \times {11}^{2} \\ \\ = \bf \: \underline{ 380.13 \: \: cm ^{2} }

 \textbf {Hey there, here is the solution.}

.............................................................................................

Find the largest possible diameter:

Given that the length and breadth of the paper is 35cm and 22cm

⇒ the largest possible diameter is 22cm

.............................................................................................

Find Radius:

Radius = Diameter ÷ 2

Radius = 22 ÷ 2 = 11 cm

.............................................................................................

Find Area of the circle:

Area = πr²

Area = π (11)² = 380 cm²

.............................................................................................

Answer: The largest circle is 380 cm²
