Answer:

87.50cm^2

Step-by-step explanation:

l=16 cm.

b=5.5 cm

l is decreased by 3.5 cm.

hence,new l=16.-3.5=12.5cm

b is increased by 1.5 cm .

hence, new b=5.5+1.5=7

area of new rectangle =l×b

=12.5×7=87.50cm^2

Answer:

L=16

B=5.5

if length is decreased by 3.5 then 16.0-3.5

then length is 12.5

if breadth is increased by 1.5 then 5.5 +1.5

then breadth is 7

the area of new circle formed is

12.5×7 that is 87.5
