Answer :-

  • Max. amount of water in cistern = 6000 L

Given :-

  • Length of Cistern = 3 m
  • Width of Cistern = 2 m
  • Height of Cistern = 1 m

To Find :-

  • Max. amount of water in cistern = ?

Explanation :-

As above given, we have Length, Width & Height of the Cistern.

The cistern will be filled with water, it means we need to find the volume of the cistern.

\blue { \boxed { \bf \bigstar \: Volume \: of \: Cistern = Length \times Width \times Height \: \bigstar}}

\sf : \: \longmapsto L \times W \times H = Volume \: of \: Cistern

\sf : \: \longmapsto (3 \times 2 \times 1) \: m^3

\sf : \: \longmapsto (6 \times 1) \: m^3

\green { \underline { \boxed { \sf : \: \longmapsto \bold{6 \: m^3} \quad \star }}}

Now we will find the Max. Amount of water that cistern can contain

\sf We \: Know \: That,

\sf : \: \longmapsto 1 \: m^3 = \bold{1000 \: Litres}

\sf : \: \longmapsto 6 \: m^3 = (6 \times 1000) \: Litres

 \purple { \underline { \boxed { \bf = 6000 \: Litres}}}

Hence, the Maximum capacity or Amount of water that cistern can contained is 6000 L.
