let the breadth be x
the length will be 2x+1
a/q
2(l+b)=20
l+b=10
3x+1=10
x=3
the length=7
122=2(21+3h+7h)
61=21+10h
40=10h
h=4

Dimension of cuboid  =  7 cm * 3cm * 4 cm if length of a cuboid is 1 more than twice its breadth .the perimeter of the base is 20 cm and total surface area is 122 cm²

Step-by-step explanation:

Let say Dimension of cuboid are L , B & H in cm

L = Length

B = Breadth

H = Height

L = 2B + 1

Perimeter of Base = 2(L + B)

2(L + B)  = 20

=> L + B = 10

=> 2B + 1 + B = 10

=> 3B = 9

=> B = 3

L = 2B + 1 = 7

L = 7 cm

B = 3 cm

H = ?

Total Surface Area = 2 ( LB + BH + LH)

= 2( 7*3  + 3H  + 7H)

= 42 + 20H

42 + 20H = 122

=> 20H = 80

=> H = 4

Dimension of cuboid  =  7 cm * 3cm * 4 cm
