length of diagonal=square root of 2 ×a.so,root2×a=10.a= root 5.so,side of square is root 5 cm.

Diagonal of the square = √(2s²)

=> 10 = √2s²

= 100 = 2s²

So,

s  \:  =  \:  \sqrt{ \frac{100}{2} }

 =  >  \: s \:  =  \:  \sqrt{50}

 =  >  \: s \:  =  >  \: 5 \sqrt{2} cm \:
