Given l = 20 m and b = 16m

Given areas of floor and flat roof = sum of areas of the four walls

2(lb) = 2(l + b)h

2(20)(16)) = 2(20 + 16)h

640 = 72h

72h = 640

h = 640/72

h = 8.8 square metres

ksatyana125: sorry i made a mistake it is 8.8 meters not square metres

Answer:

given l=20m b=16m

ATQ

area of floor and area of roof=sum of the four walls

=》2(lb)=2h(l+b)

=》640=72h

=》h=640/72

=》h=8.8 m

volume of the hall =l×b×h

=》20×16×8.8

=》2×16×88

=》32×88

=》2816 m cube
