Given,

Length of the arc = 22 cm

Length of the radius = 28 cm

To find,

The angle subtended at the centre by the arc and the area of the sector formed by the arc.

Solution,

We can easily solve this mathematical problem by using the following mathematical process.

Value of angle = 22/28 = 11/14 radians

Area of 2π radians= π×(28)² = 784π cm²

Area of 2 radians = 784 cm²

Area of 1 radian = 392 cm²

Area of 11/14 radians = 392 × 11/14 = 308 cm²

Now,

π radians = 180°

22/7 rad = 180°

1 rad = 180×7/22

11/14 rad = 180× 7/22 × 11/14

11/14 rad = 180 × 1/4 = 45°

Hence, the value of angle is 45° and the area is 308 cm².
