Length of a rectangle exceeds it's breadth by 4m. If the perimeter of the rectangle is 84m, find it's leanths and breadth

  • Let x be the breadth.
  • Length is equal to (x + 4 meter)
  • 84m is the Peremiter of triangle.
  • 2 ..lenght + breadth.. is the Perimeter of rectangle.

So,:-

(84 = 2 x + 4 +x m)

(84 = 2 °2x + 4) \\ </p><p>(2x + 4 = 84 ÷ 2)

(2x = 42 °4 )\\ </p><p>(x = 38 ÷ 2 = 19)
