Answer:

Let the breadth of rectangle be x.

Length of the rectangle = x+4

Perimeter of rectangle = 2(l+b)

=> 84 = 2(x+x+4)

=> 84/2 = 2x+4

=> 2x+4 = 42

=> 2x = 42-4

=> 2x = 38

=> x = 19

Hence, breadth of rectangle = 19 m

Length of rectangle = (19+4) m = 23 m

Answer:

let breadth is x m

so length is (x+4)m

we know ,

perimeter =2(length+breadth)

=> 84=2(x+4+x)

=> 2x+4=84/2=42

=> 2x=42-4=38

=> x=38/2=19

so breadth is 19 m and length is (19+4) m=23 m
