Explanation:

Let l be length and b be breadth

So l = b+4 (According to question)

Perimeter of rectangle is 2×(l+b) ,But it is given as 54m.

So, 2×(b+4+b) = 54 (Substitute for l with b+4)

2b+4 = 27

2b = 23

b = 11.5m

As l = b+4,l = 11.5+4 which is 15.5m

Therefore length and breadth of rectangle are 15.5m and 11.5m respectively
