• Perimeter = 90m

Supposition:

• Let breadth of the rectangle is X

• Then length will be = x + 5

Formula:

• Perimeter = 2(Length + Breadth)

Solution:

• Put values in formula

• 90 = 2{(x+5) + x}

• 90 = 2{x+5+x}

• 90 = 2{2x+5}

• 90/2 = 2x + 5

• 45 = 2x + 5

• 45 - 5 = 2x

• 40 = 2x

• 40/2 = x

• 20 = x

• Or

• x = 20

Breadth:

• As breadth is x. And x=20

• So breadth = 20m

Length:

• As length = x + 5

• By putting value of x

• length = 20 + 5

• length = 25m
