length of a rectangle is 10cm and width 8cm.If it's length and width are doubled, what would be the area of the New rectangle. howmany times the area of the original rectangle is the area of the New rectangle?

area of current rectangle = 10*8=80cm2
if both r doubled, area of new one = 20*16= 320cm2.
so the new one is 4 times the old one
